3. Look for the “Account” option in the settings, and then select “Recently Deleted” in this section.

How to recover deleted Instagram posts:

Now that you have accessed the folder containing deleted posts, stories, Reels, and IGTV videos, you should be able to restore them. Follow the steps below to recover deleted Instagram posts:

1. Go to the Recently Deleted folder: Settings > Account > Recently Deleted
2. Tap on the content you want to recover.
3. Tap on the three dots in the top right corner of the screen, and then choose the “Restore” option from the menu that appears.

Note: As mentioned earlier, if you delete a story, it will only remain in the Recently Deleted folder for 24 hours, and there is no possibility of recovering it within 30 days. However, there is an exception in this regard. If the archive feature for stories is active, and the deleted story has been archived, it falls under the 30-day recovery rule. During this time, you can either recover it within 30 days or permanently delete it.

How to Recover Deleted Reels:

Recovering deleted Reels on Instagram is similar to posts and IGTV, and you need to follow the same previous steps. Additionally, you have the same 30-day window to recover deleted Reels.

To recover deleted Reels, go to your profile, then access the settings. Next, tap on your account and open the Recently Deleted folder. Here, find the Reel you want to recover and restore it. If more than 30 days have passed since the deletion of the Reel, you won’t be able to recover it.
